As an experienced Front-end developer at Onsweb, you will immediately start working on challenging projects for our clients. This varies from larger Corporate websites to complete E-commerce solutions. You will work in Scrum Teams together with developers, CTO, UX-designer, Product Owner and Scrum Master where you will estimate tasks and work independently on user stories. There is a lot of room to develop yourself, which we kind of expect you to do)) You have the skills to look at applications both analytically and critically. You consult with other team members and come up with suggestions or improvements to further improve the quality. Therefore you also need to have the necessary “soft skills”. You enjoy working with colleagues and clients. Good and open communication in English is therefore a must.
In terms of front-end we’re always optimizing our Gulp build process; automatically compiling the SCSS, combining and minifying the files, making them ready to push to the deploy scripts. Our modern designs allow us to use techniques such as SVG, Mustache, Ajax, video, flexbox, internal and external API’s, etc.We work on a dedicated Onsweb framework with our own parent theme and plugins library. We incorporate bedrock in all of our websites and install all required Onsweb- and third party plugins default via Composer. Our automated DTAP enables us to manage our framework and update plugins via our self hosted composer plugin library to all of our websites and E-commerce solutions in a controlled environment. We are recently integrating Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate CI into our (future) projects.
We?re a Dutch Internet agency, often considered and referred to as ?online architects? because of our DNA for providing online solutions with complex integrations, portals, e-commerce and the larger high traffic websites. We’re working with about 30 employees from 2 different locations; the main office in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and our development department in Lviv.
We develop portal solutions with data integrations as well as the more complex WordPress solutions with high technical standards. For this we have two different departments: our Portal and WordPress department. For all our projects we apply scrum with refinement, sprints and retrospectives. Our clients are larger (inter)national operating companies.

We strive to provide our solutions with the best (opensource) tools, plug-ins, modules and links. Our fully automated DTAP enables us to create so-called “Review APPs” for each new feature, hotfix, or release. Review APPs are based on infrastructure-as-code and will spin up a completely standalone environment of the application for testing, QA, auditing, and acceptance..
